CEO Samira Ahmed: The Tester Who Built Our Site for Real Phones

Every page you open on MCW here in Bangladesh has already been opened, tapped, scrolled and timed on a cheap Android handset sitting on one particular desk. That desk belongs to CEO Samira Ahmed, who leads our local website, and the handset is her favourite colleague. This page is written by our team, with a few words from Samira herself.

She is not a banker or a marketer. She came to this job from software testing, where the work is to find the moment an app breaks before a user does.

Meet CEO Samira Ahmed: A Personal Profile

Samira Ahmed is the chief executive of this website’s Bangladeshi operation, responsible for what we publish, how the pages behave and how our support team treats people.

We asked what she would want readers to know first. She laughed: “Tell them I am the one who complains when a button is two pixels too small.”

Roots in Sylhet

Samira grew up in Sylhet, a city of hills, rain and loyal cricket crowds. At home the radio commentary ran all afternoon, and arguments about batting orders outlasted the games.

Internet there was patchy for years, and she grew used to pages crawling in line by line. Much later, that memory became a design rule for our whole team.

Study, Work and Languages

She studied computer science in Dhaka and moved into software quality assurance, working as a product tester for mobile apps: writing test cases, logging bugs and repeating the same login flow until something cracked.

She speaks Bangla, slips into Sylheti with old friends, and works comfortably in English. Our team jokes that her fourth language is bug reports.

Cricket Numbers and the Phone on the Desk

Outside work, her passion is cricket statistics. She keeps her own notes on strike rates and economy figures through every BPL season, and will explain why dot-ball percentage matters more than a wicket tally.

Her quirk is famous in the office. An old low-end phone with a scratched screen sits beside her laptop at all times. She calls it the “real user”. If a page feels slow on that phone, it is not ready.

How to Reach CEO Samira Ahmed

We want readers and partners to be able to speak to the people behind the site, so the routes are simple and official. There is no private number and no social account to hunt for.

Messages through these channels are read by real people, and anything needing her attention is passed to her directly.

Contact Page and Live Chat

For most questions, start with the official contact page on our site. For anything urgent about an account, a deposit or a broken page, the live support chat is faster, because it is staffed and answered in order.

Samira reads a summary of chat conversations every week. She says transcripts tell her more than any dashboard.

Email for Partners and Feedback

For partnership ideas, feedback on our guides, or a concern for a senior person, write to ceo@mcw2.markets. Include a clear subject line and, if it is about a page, the link and your phone model.

That last detail matters. When CEO Samira Ahmed hears that a page misbehaves, she first tries it on the same kind of handset.

CEO Samira Ahmed and the Founding Journey

Our site began with a tester’s irritation. Samira kept noticing that gaming and sports pages for Bangladeshi readers were built for fast office connections, not for someone on a crowded bus with one bar of 4G.

She did not create the global brand. Her job was narrower and, in her view, more useful: leading a local site people here could use comfortably.

From Bug Reports to a Business Idea

Testing apps had given her a list of small failures that drove users away: heavy images, pop-ups covering the close button, forms that cleared themselves when the signal dropped. She turned that list into rules.

When she was asked to lead the Bangladeshi operation of MCW, she brought the list to the first meeting. “I did not bring a slide deck,” she told us. “I brought a phone and asked everyone to load our homepage on it.”

Building Mobile-First, Page by Page

The early months were slow on purpose. Every new page was tested on a budget handset over a weak connection before anyone viewed it on a desktop.

CEO Samira Ahmed sat in on most of those tests. Developers remember her watching a loading spinner in silence, then asking which part of the page could go.

Learning From the People Who Use It

She insisted that early feedback come from ordinary readers too. Friends in Sylhet, cousins in Chattogram and students in Rajshahi tried the site and reported anything confusing.

Some of the best changes came from them, such as moving key buttons lower, where a thumb naturally rests.

What CEO Samira Ahmed Has Achieved So Far

We prefer not to dress up our progress with big claims. What we can describe honestly are changes readers can feel, most of which trace back to decisions Samira pushed for.

None of them are finished. She treats each one as something to test again next month.

Pages That Work on Budget Phones

Our pages are now built around the phones most people in Bangladesh carry. Lighter layouts, fewer heavy scripts and careful image sizes mean content arrives before patience runs out.

A new feature does not ship until it passes the “real user” check on her desk phone. That rule has become part of how MCW content is planned here.

Bangla Guides and BPL Cricket Coverage

Under CEO Samira Ahmed, the site launched full Bangla-language guides explaining registration, deposits and game rules in plain words. She reads drafts aloud to check they sound like a person, not a manual.

Her love of cricket numbers shaped our BPL coverage too. Match previews lean on statistics and context rather than hype.

Faster Help and a Responsible Play Page

Studying chat transcripts the way she once studied crash logs, Samira helped the support team remove repeated steps and shorten the wait for a real answer.

She also set up a responsible-play page explaining limits, breaks and where to find help. She calls it “the page I hope people read before they need it.”

Commitments From CEO Samira Ahmed for the Road Ahead

Her promises are practical: keep the site light, honest and easy to use on any phone and any connection.

These commitments apply to adults aged 18 and over only, and every reader is responsible for following the laws that apply where they live.

Transparency and Responsible Play

CEO Samira Ahmed has committed to keeping our terms, bonus conditions and rules clear, with nothing important hidden in small print. Gaming is entertainment, never a way to earn money, and nothing on our site promises a win.

The responsible-play tools will keep growing, with clearer ways to set limits or step away.

Local Payments and Better Guides

She plans to keep improving support for local payment methods people in Bangladesh already use, with guides tested on the same budget handset.

More Bangla guides are coming, along with deeper statistics for each BPL season.

You already know what matters to her: pages that load, words that make sense and support that answers.

She would much rather hear about a problem than have it stay hidden.

Tell us which page felt slow, which guide confused you, or which match preview you enjoyed. Mention your phone model, and we will try it on the same kind of device.
